RIP Herbie indeed...
This is probably the most amazing and inspirational US sports story ever.
was like a picture
of a sunny day

But I have seen it since
Unbelievable
Al Michaels with a great call
The ONLY thing better than a glass of beer is tea with Miss McGill
A protuberance of flesh above the waistband of a tight pair of trousers

As much of a Hockey nut that I am
I have not seen the movie yet :(

obviously i dont remember
however i was in the room while the parents were watching
Aren't you too young to remember those? ......I know its going to sound sexist but I'm impressed a female remembers the miracle on Manchester. I think the incident that happened right after this picture was taken factored into the outcome!

What happened after the picture was snapped look like it could have ended up on Datelines to catch a predator!
such bitterness w/ the moose lol i love it
Hey come on J ......Gary was just a kid in that picture
I hated Grant Fuhr...and when he was with LA I was so pissed...wasn't a big "great one" fan either...I was all about my Golden/Purple boys...I kinda blamed him for the whole direction change for the Kings...besides I liked it that only "Real" fans followed the sport...I hate it when people say he "brought hockey to LA"
Foxy was slick on the ice and Charlie Simmer!!! and do I even have to mention Marcel???
I had a crush on Robitaille when he was a punk ass kid from Quebec...he turned out well, didn't he??
some of my best memories are sports related...
(by the way - I am over the tuna incident tee hee hee )
Awesome story!!! I thought those old yellow and purple unis were classic ...and the triple crown line dominated the league for a period
....glad to hear you got past the tuna
