he has always been awesome

does so much for me and has always been there


but last night might have topped it off ....


he calls me to see how everything is going with me and my gf
he knows the last 2 1/2 weeks have been rough with the death of her dad
so were bullshitting and all of a sudden he goes "oh shit vedder is playing the wiltern"? im like yeah

then he goes" kcuf this me and you are going i have a connection out there tickets will be no problem ill pay for everything "
im like lol you're crazy its 1 month away
and he's like who cares just pack your shit

i just have to see if the gf will be ok with me leaving next month for a few days
its a weekend so she can be with her family most of the time im gone
shouldn't be a problem..... i think

what a great brother ,,it saddens me to see people talk about fighting with siblings and not talking to them...
ive never known that in my life and i couldnt imagine that shit happening

    Yeah you selfish prick!!! ;) Figures the one show you go to I won't be at!! Santa Cruz is also a weekend show and has much better scenery!!! You can head to Monterey the next day!!! It's not too late!!

    As to siblings, I haven't spoken to my older sister in about 5 years (I think). Maybe if she called and offered to take me to an EV show I would change my mind!!! ;):D

    that is AWESOME - what a great brother indeed! i am happy to say, i have a SISTER like that! maybe not taking me to hawaii or cali :p......but pretty spectacular none the less. i remember years and years ago...she and i went on a crazy trip together down to philly for live aid.....and she paid scalpers $100 a ticket (Enormous pricing at the time) for us to go to the show - good times indeed! :D she is truly one of my very best friends, along with being my sister...and so thankful to have her in my life.

I have three older sister's too that are awesome..I'm so sorry to hear about your girlfriend's dad, that is horrible :( I think it will do her some good to spend some time with her family and you with yours.     we've been out by her mom for the past 2 1/2 weeks
    but we had to go home to brooklyn ,, bills need to be paid
    i

    luckily she has about 70 family members in her town to help her and her mom

    im totally drained , its been rough and my brother knows this
    so he made the offer

    like i said we'll see how the next few weeks play out
    the tickets can be had last minute no problem so we have a few weeks

    it's his long time gf and that's like a father in law, theoretically, it's like family and of course it is hard supporting a girlfriend or signifcant other after a loss like that. It's mentally and physically exhausting. Taking care of family members in general for any reason is the same.
