Ha! Yea, there have been times when I've definitely risked injury to myself and/or others while watching sports - especially hockey - so I feel for ya.

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery. Heal fast, the team needs you!

Never thrown my back out, but if I ever need knee replacement surgery, watching a basketball game could be a contributing factor. I got so excited watching a game one time that I jumped off the couch and inadvertently crashed my knee on the coffee table. I know I heard something pop and my knee swelled up for a couple of days. I must have hit it perfectly, because I walked around with a limp for about 3 days afterwards.

I thought sports were over until football season starts.

I remember about 16 years ago watching a game with a fellow Rangers fan at his house. He got so pissed, he threw a full beer at his TV and broke it. We had to find somewhere else to watch the rest of the game.

Never my back, but I did nearly break my hand punching something once while watching a sporting event.

I once pulled something in my forearm flipping off my stereo when a CD started skipping. I never would have guessed that possible. The worst part was my good friend witnessed said event and I still haven't heard the end of it.

okay, ill take a beating for this, but im a nascar fan. once Earnhardt Jr. got spun out while in the lead with only 4 laps to go, i threw such a hissy fit, and was yelling so much i got a nose bleed. my GF, and my friends were quite impressed! lol.

i then had to sit down after my screaming bitch fest because i thougt i was going to pass out!

dizzy, with a nose bleed, and having just lost about 100 bucks in bets, i felt like an ass.
    Peace, Love.

It's not funny but the way you describe what happened is
    I'm sorry :(
    back pain is the worst
my back went out a few yrs ago and I couldn't get up off the floor
I was out of work for a week

I also threw a remote at my tv during the '01 World Series. Fortunately I didn't break it
