thanks, I'll take pass on you serenading me with that theme song ;)

Ha! I do love torturing people. ;) They like it though :p

Now I know why you make fun of me when I tell you I'm watching Saved by the Bell. :p Though I still suspect you secretly like it. ;)

Yeah, Jenny left after the first season, I think, and Sam was brought in as the token "ethnic" character. :p Jake had already been brought in, and Matt was soon to leave to make way for Mark - Sly's cousin - and Lorena Costa.

    What? :o

    I don't have the CD.

    Except I do.
    :D

Jenny... was she the really pretty one with short-ish black hair?

The best one was when Jessie got hooked on caffeine pills. They made it like she was hooked on blow or something.

Mr. Belding is always just showing up.
Remember the Hawaii episodes? They were all on vacation when Belding showed up. Then every time they were off doing something...sure enough, Belding showed up. LOL! So dumb! :D

I still catch it occasionally in the mornings on TBS. If it wasn't for Saved By the Bell, there would never have been a Behind the Music Series. ;) One of my fav episodes is the Rockumentary Episode of the Zack Attack hosted by Casey Kasem.

What about the episodes without Kelly Kapowski and Jessie Spano? Why were they not on the show and then suddenly re-appeared.

I think they wanted to "expand" their acting hozions. By "expand", I mean play sluts in the shows/movies that they "acted" in after Bell.

I remember seeing Showgirls in college and saying, "Is that Jessie Spano?"

    Oops, didn't see it.

There is a chapter in Chuck Kloisterman's "Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs - a Cultural Manifesto" devoted to Saved by the Bell. I don't remember it exactly, but I think he mentioned there was a contract problem with both of them and that they both wanted to get off the show before they were typecast so they brought Tori in while they were doing other projects. And apparently negotiations were finalized in time for them to return for the graduation episodes and for Kelly to be on Saved by the Bell the College Years.

    I think this explains it:

the character of Tori Scott (Leanna Creel) was added in later episodes as an initial sparring partner and later girlfriend for Zack. Originally, the final season consisted of thirteen episodes featuring the original cast, and the cast members' contracts with the show expired after those episodes were completed with the final graduation episode. However, NBC ordered more episodes of the show and Thiessen and Berkley refused to sign new contracts. Rather than producing new episodes with only four cast members, a new character, Tori Scott, was added to serve as a replacement for Kelly and Jessie.
