Dissappointed in Obama already..This doesn't bode well

He is already going back on his promise to bring troops home. Instead he will be sending 20,000 more out by next summer..This is very upsetting. I have friends over there that were thankful to think it was almost over.

His giving power to people who should never be given any power like Daniel Kurtzer, one of Baker's Jew Boys, is also very upsetting..

Is it really too much to ask for, at the very least, a President who checks the background of the people he appoints?

I think he knows exactly who he has appointed. I was disappointed with his first pick, Rahm Emanuel, and its been all downhill from there;.
  • Yea, unfortunately I also think he prolly was well aware of the people he chose..Kurtzer and Robert Malley are both an absolute insult to Jews, not to mention any policies they get thru will hurt Israel..Just as Baker's policies did back under Bush sr.

Malley's father, simon Malley (my s key doesn't work so pardon the lower case, it's copy/glue) has worked closely with Arafat and is wanted in France for radical acts including attempted murder for hire against foreign chief's of staff. And Robert's writings, along with his actions working with Arafat himself after leaving the Clinton admin, show he is on the same page as his father.

This is who Obama has given positions in our government to.

    :?:

Rahm Emanuel is an Israeli Hawk, hes going to be Obama's chief of staff. Obama has said he supports Israel's right to exist absolutely, while failing to do the same for a Palestinian state, which seems to imply Obama is already behind Israel.

Israeli aggression has been supported by Washington for decades, and it doesn't look like its going to change with Obama.
  • One can hope it doesn't turn against Israel..West Bank is already governed by Palestinian's and it is nowt like Gaza.

I don't understand why we can't back both, and instead turn our aim specifically at breaking down Hamas militants and "leaders."
Not supporting the Palestinians is as bad as going against Israel..All it will accomplish is harbouring more hatred. And the folk he is appointing seems like the only thing they will accomplish is constantly having a go at each other.

sorry if none of this makes sense and/or has nothing to do with anything lmao..I'm wiped and on meds.

so wait, a politician didn't do what was promised? wow. such an astonishing thing to happen!

do we want Bush back? i already told my boss that my last day of work is when Obama is sworn in because the ever powerful Obama will erase all of my debt and make money obsolete. good feelings and rainbows will be our new currency.

    oh wait, sheep cant read...sorry.

Obama received more money from the banking elites than any person in history and people act surprised when he fills his staff with former Federal Reserve board members and the like.

thing is it was the "war hero" or Obama. those were our choices. given what I know now I still would have voted for Obama. there's still a chance something will improve with him. Mccain would have been a hawk, hardline typical empire whore...I think Obama will at least pursue diplomacy when he should.

small changes in policy can mean life or death for millions of people.

still, very disappointed with his picks so far.
  • lmao...I was not as cynical as I am elsewhere cos I thought maybe this was going to get me fried on here.
Glad to see I was wrong.

How can you be disappointed already? He's not even the president yet!!!
  • he doesn't have to be president yet to know what he intends to do once he is.
    sending more troops.
bad ideas for reviving the economy and acting like he doesn't need congress' advice on the matter.
making terrible choices for his cabinet.

He's not even pres yet and he's already off to a really bad start. It's worrisome.

I'm just saying...wait until we see what the results are. Then be disappointed :)

Honestly though, look who he is replacing. It can't get any worse than that! As long as he can produce good results and help fix the country, I don't care who is in his cabinet or if he acts like he needs advice. I just want the country to get better... I do understand what you are saying though.

If we "back both" we should end the billion dollar handouts to the Israeli military...or handout apaches and cruise missiles to the Palestinians. its been very one sided so far. I think an end to military support would be a better solution...

but if you really are for an equal approach to the conflict, you could start by not supporting the Israeli apartheid, by not getting behind a government that gives billions in military aid to a militant Israel/ that's where the real terrorism lies.

And did you see all those black performers? What is up with that? That was upsetting as well. Jews and Blacks. What is up with those people?

Day 1 and look what we have here. This thread has potential.

I have a last name ending in"witz" and have black friends and am friends with a lot of people who voted for Obama, as well as McCain voters who are at least waiting to see how Obama does as the initial months unfold as they have more patience than a 2 year old begging for candy in a grocery store as mommy says no.

*Sits back and waits for this to unfold*

  • Commy- I didn't mean back both militaries..I mean back both recognising Israel, and also recognise and help build up, Palestine..But like Britain is saying, only once Hamas is gone.

fanch- You look ignorant to anyone who actually knows anything about the Jew Boys and what a disgrace they were. They are indeed Jewish, but are anti-semitic, and created policies that aided the PLO.

BinFrong- Actually I posted it well before day one :?

I have patience and am waiting it out for some things, but I can still voice my concerns over the things he has already clearly stated he will do, and my disgust with the staff he is choosing, namely because it's the staff and congress who do the most damage. Better choices = less future damage. so everyone already upset has good reason to be. He didn't need to be sworn in yet for that.
