Okay, which parts of the 'bailout' just seem wrong?

It is wrong to accept (more) funds from China, an anti-democratic nation
with a terrible history of human rights violations.
It is wrong for the federal gov't to nationalize banks and mortgage assets
even if they are in crisis.
It is wrong to craft the bailout plan in secrecy when it affects every
US citizen.
It is wrong to rush the votes of Congress without opportunity to explore
alternative solutions for mortgage and lien holders.
It is wrong for Henry Paulson to bring his emergency crisis report to
Congress 11 days ago when the press has been reporting the upcoming
adjustable rate mortgage problem for over a year.

does anyone have the link where they were going to post the proposal? granted, now that it's over 100 pages, who knows who can actually get through it all. But, I wanted to read it.

All of the bailout seems wrong! Its fucking criminal.

I feel like we are on the Titanic, you know "steerage" whatever the fuck that's how everyone but the "Bush base" is being regarded as!

not sure about the actual proposal being posted, but in my googling I came
across the tidbit that the UK and Netherlands both have major mortgage
banks being nationalized

It's wrong that a market correction is being called a "depression", and that the government is infusing taxpayer money into an already grossly inflated industry to prevent that correction from taking place.

and just to muddy the waters a bit, I actually thought McCain was going
to buck Bush's plan for a second. But it did get finalized.
