I was so looking forward to this NFL season as I thought Brady would be motivated to go all out and win the damn Bowl. Son of a bitch.

This helps the Jets out tremendously, but it does suck. You hate to see such a fierce competitor go down like that.

  • Oh great! How in the hell will he ever lower gas prices and bring the troops home with a bum knee? This country is so seriously fucked. Anyway, I heard they may be bringing in Chris Simms. Is this true? I really like his fiscal record. Although his foreign policy could use a little work. That, and he's a freemason with direct ties to the Bilderberg group.

Not sure about Simms, but Tim Duncan is a huge proponent on fiscal responsibility. The Onion, in case you didn't know is a very reliable news source.

When you go out of your way to run up the score on opponents like last year .......you never want to leave yourself in a vulnerable position!

It wasn't his fault those shitty defenses couldn't stop him. It's the NFL, not pop warner. If you can't take losing then stop playing.
  • It's kinda messed up for people to be happy about a guy getting injured.

I hate Tom Brady too, mostly because they cheated...partially because he and the team and just damn good.

I wish the Steelers had an offensive line this year...it's wide open.

I am an official J-E-T-S fan until Favre retires again... and this makes things real interesting

with Brady out... Manning with a bad wheel... does that make Favre the best QB in the AFC right now?

Agreed...if you don't want a team to run run up the score, stop bitching and start playing defense.

Very true. There were many games where they should have run the ball to waste the clock because they were up by 20+ points late in the 4th and not only was Brady still in the game he was chunking the ball downfield. Ghostshit comes back to haunt you sometimes for this behavior.

Agreed. Favre is second unless Palmer can get some protection up in Cincy.

I agree with that as well, Carson is a stud qb, wasted on that pathetic team.

This is the losers point of view. You think Brady should run the clock out to not offend the opposing teams fans? Because the opposing team sucks? What about the fans of the Pats that enjoy seeing him fling the ball all over the field to Moss and Welker? Who should the Pats be more concerned about?

Just because teams are the shits, doesn't mean any team should ever stop playing.

Edit: You don't get back at a team by injuring their star player. You get back at them by beating them. Now these teams wont get that opportunity.

Depressed about what? I think in a way it's one of the best things that could've happened to the Patriots. ALL of the rest of the Patriots will have to pick up their games to be competitive.

    They will be just fine.
