So Obama can't be president because of a perceived security issue when visiting Muslim countries?

Uh... That's a new one at least.

  • This war on terrorism is the beginning of the end of civilization. It's a path to destruction.

Sp why is Obama promoting this racist hatred?

    It's sick I tell ya...

Did you read the article? It actually had very little to do with Obama. I'm with you on the current war, but I do believe we need to combat terrorism. The Phillipines would be a good start, as the biggest producer of terrorists. Actually finding Osama is a good idea too. I don't know what "racist hatred" you refer to, if it's along the lines of half the threads here then no need to go into it (ahem, Israel, I'm with you on that too). If not, then please espouse.

This was all I was able to read, so I ad libbed

"Of all the well-meaning desires projected on Barack Obama, the hope that he would decisively improve relations with the world’s Muslims is the least realistic.

Terrorism needs to be addressed but I'm not sure it can be fought against in the current manner of occupying and bombing countries into chaos.

People just want to live and be content. All living things do. No one is born wanting to blow themselves up to get back at whatever opposes them. People revolt when they are oppressed. I believe terrorism is a poor mans means to fighting back against unjust conditions. I'm a firm believer of cause an affect, and I think most people in the west are educated enough to know better how to defuse conflict so we should take the lead in this sense.

People say "fight against it!", but the term should be "address and resolve it".

    It's all backwards..
