I thought they had "agreed to terms"... but then John McCain comes sweeping in on his white horse.

And I like how the whole country just needs to wait while ole Johnny decides whether he can take a second off of all the good he is doing with the economy to debate that Obama guy.
All the rusted signs, we ignore throughout our lives, choosing the shiny ones instead...

Haha, no. Although it did come out that way.

I just find it humorous that he was coming to solve this big economic crisis... and things certainly haven't been fixed.

Did he think he was going to be able to just maverick them into submission?

I came to that conclusion years ago. I've also come to the conclusion that voting in new politicians does not work. That's why I talk so much about taxes. The only thing that will take power away from an inneffectual government is to remove the amount of resources it has to waste.
The only people we should try to get even with...
    ...are those who've helped us.

Ole' Jonny Boy rode his Maverick horse on into Washington and managed to get nothing done. Hmmm...what a surprise.

Did anyone else see that "photo op" picture of him and Bush sitting there trying to wrap their soft heads around the issue? I wish I could find it as it appears to have vanished like a fart in the wind but WOW if that picture didn't just scream "Dumb and Dumber" I don't know what does.

McCain is a complete half wit. He's a disgrace to his country and even his own party.
  • What is going on right now has almost rendered me speechless. I honestly can't believe what is happening, and how things shift within minutes. Yesterday, top party leaders from both sides told the public that a deal was imminent.
