I recently had my class read the Eddie Vedder interview in Rolling Stone magazine. Vedder touches on a variety of topics including: censorship, Iraq, downlaod quality, modified food etc. We took the topics and added depth with supplemental material.

My studetns will respond to this thread, tell you what they learned and request more information.

If you can be of assistance please help. Obviously it would be exciting if we could get even the faintest acknowledgment from the band.

Thank You,

Brad Horstman

  • In my reading class we were able to watch a trailer of themovie “Iraq for Sale”. We then learned about no bid contract and cost plus contract. But why do soldiers get charged a lot? They get Charged $45 for a six pack of soda and $100 for a load of laundary. They should have benefits because they’re risking they’re lives for our country.

They should get everything at a lower price than the prices we get here in the country. Do they even get paid for everything they do at war? we thought it was very interesting. We would really like cds or anything that has to do with war.
