U.S. abortion rate falls to lowest level since 1974

I thought some of you might be interested in the new abortion data that was released today, which indicates that the abortion rate in the United States is now (as of 2005) lower than it has been since 1974:

    I guess it all depends on how much the birth rate changed in that same period. The stat they use is number of abortions per 1,000 women aged 15–44. So if there is a decline in the number of these women getting pregnant, there is going to be a decline in the number of abortions.
