so as it stands right now, neither Obama or Clinton may not have enough delegates going into the conventions. Clinton as of right now has 657 and Obama has 541 and we dont have enough states to go yet to get anyone to the "magic number" unless there is a landslide over the next few states going one way or the other.

this could get interesting.

  • Just curious who are you watching? MSNBC's man Chuck Todd has it down to 841 Obama and 837 Clinton, +59 Superdelegate advantage to Clinton.

Next primaries are caucuses, Obama cleaned up in the caucuses and will continue to do so... this is going to happen Saturday and he will make up the +59 Superdelegate difference.

The Clintons dont have favorable states coming up until March 4th. Ohio and Texas.

Obama's fundraising has to be looked at as well. He is out raising Clinton almost 3 to 1. This will allow him to be where he needs to, mobilize the people and purchase ad time in each state. And what he has been showing is the more time he gets infront of people the more they choose him over Clinton. Just follow the trends... esspecially in California, where he was over 20 points behind just a few weeks ago. The only, ONLY reason Clinton won there is because of the early voters that voted WEEKS ago.

    Crazy times here...
    10.31.93 / 10.1.94 / 6.24.95 / 11.4.95 / 10.19-20.96 / 7.16.98 / 7.21.98 / 10.31.00 /8.4.01 Nader Rally/ 10.21.01 / 12.8-9.02 / 6.01.03 / 9.1.05 / 7.15-16,18.06 / 7.20.06 / 7.22-23.06 / Lolla 07
  • New numbers with a margin of error of 10... 1140 Clinton 1078 Obama, Obama won more delegates tonight. +62 Superdelegate difference... Obama may erase that in the next two weeks... Leaves Ohio and Texas which apparently are Hillary country.

Bottom line... no ones knows what will happen.

i'm watching CNN. but yeah, i'd say its up for grabs. i guess my point is neither could have the delegates needed going into the dem. convention, which would be trippy.

its a freaking political soap opera for sure.

reality t.v. at its best! lol

Seriously. Here's what I found (Obama v. Clinton only):

    Yahoo! (AP)
    Obama: 602
    Clinton: 588

    CNN
    Obama: 709
    Clinton: 783

    MSNBC:
    Obama: 485
    Clinton: 582

    CBS:
    Obama: 824
    Clinton: 900

    ABC:
    Obama: 793
    Clinton: 872

    FOX:
    Obama: 765
    Clinton: 845

WTF? I don't have the time to try and interpret how each news source is calculating their delegate count. Can anyone tell me what the REAL numbers are?
