Writing in a vote- HELP!!!!!!!

Does anyone know if there are certain states that don't allow a 'write in' vote?

Does the candidate have to be registered for your vote to count?

How does the whole 'write in' process work? The electorial college decides the total amount of votes, so how many votes would you need to become president if you received a write in vote?

I've searched the internet, but have had no luck.

Any help would be appreciated...

  • I could be wrong, but I dont think every state allows write in votes, so you probably just need to check your own states voting rules.
  • Thank you!
