    Why is it ironic? As a libertarian I imagine Paul would be opposed to having the federal government regulate a free exchange between consenting adults regardless of his personal morality.

    Makes perfect sense to me. If consenting adults wish to exchange cash for sex why should the government get involved? I never understood the concept of outlawing prostitution. Just another holdover from our puritanical past.

    what is ironic is that the article header says "LONG SHOT gop hopeful" when Ron Paul is the ONLY gop candidate with consistent, vociferous support.

    When fourth quarter numbers show that he raised more money than Romney or Guiliani for the period, the joke will be on them.
