    i love when people paint Barack Obama as a war monger... you know, the same dude that spoke out againast the war when that was political suicide... the same dude that has proposed immediate phased withdraw out of iraq... the same dude that is proprosing for no permanent bases in iraq... the same dude that proposes to close gitmo... the same dude that proposes a ban on torture and to uphold international standards...

    Well since you seem so confident that Obama is anti war, you shouldn't have any problems helping me out with these questions I asked earlier in the thread. All I've seen anti-war from Obama is speeches and his plans seem quite vague and don't really tell me much.

    To me the funniest part out of all those quotes was this:

    World Trade Organization is something that indigent people and peasants around the world have protested violently against, and have even killed themselves in protest of.
    It is something that 3rd world countries are usualy FORCED or COERCED in to in order to receive "aid" or World Bank "loans" ... its the biggest bunch of bullshit the White man has ever come up with, probably. An absolute joke, and a disgrace.

    I'm sure Iran just can't fucking wait for the "opportunity" to stop pursuing life sustaining peacefull nuclear power so that it can be totally fucked over and westernized by corrupting and deceitful WTO "agreements".

    I love when people say he's this anti-war visionary when he's voted to fund the damn thing, has no plans of getting out of Iraq anytime soon and proposes we modernize and expand the military.

    here is what i understand about nafta... part of the ageement insisted that mexico discontinue it's affordable higher education policy which lead to closing of universities resulting in an increase in unskilled workers
    u.s. flooded the mexican market with cheap produce resulting in small farmers in mexico not being able to make a living, losing their land (bought by corporate farm co.'s) these people were forced to go to cities to look for work.undercutting the skilled labor of mexico. this caused mexican labor to come to U.S. to look for work,this is what i understand to be the belief of the zapatist of mexico. this caused a lessening of wages in the us and a disregard for working condition laws here, nafta is good for big business and not the working people anywhere. fines for employing illegals would be a good idea to stop businesses exploitation but i believe that it wouldn't take illegal mexican labor to rise and demand union wages and fair working conditions here regardless. just one more thought... is the wall going to keep mexicans out or us in? things could get so bad we wish we were illegal workers some place else.
