I'm gonna make this quick, because I'm tired, buzzed, and I'm not in the best of moods at this moment. Hopefully the Spurs might pull a win out in game 2 because I'm pretty heartbroken right now. Found this as I was searching for some Pearl Jam news. Here's the link:

New album in 2008? And I thought the band was slowing down some. Maybe a small tour (with a focus on the southern states :)) with ensue after the initial release. One can only hope Bruce Springsteen and PJ decide to co-headline a tour while playing on alternating nights. Just my two cents.

Sorry, I disagree that this is the best article. They make things that were obviously very vague sound too concrete.
He said maybe by the end of the year. He also said there are about "four or five" songs "ready to go", meaning written. They say "complete", which sounds a bit more finished, as if they may already be recorded.
I'm not trying to nit-pick (though I know it certainly sounds that way), I just hate the media twisting things to sound more interesting than they are.

  • I am not really sure why so many people hate the Spurs. The team is full of high class, high caliber players (OK, you may debate over Bruce Bowen) who concentrate on team effort. Their game is enjoyable to watch. I'm not getting sucked into an argument here, but I am defending a team with players who seem to be really nice. I have meet TD before too in person, and I'm vouching for him. To make this Pearl Jam related, back in '03 the band was playing a show in Selma. (just outside of SA) He knows how much us San Antonians love our team, so he ragged on the audience asking why we were at their show and not at the game at the time. We the audience all booed when he said this, but it's all in good fun. :)
