    Yeah, but another victory for him doesn't mean anything about whether he is the better candidate. People VOTED GWB into office the second time, and he was worse the 2nd term than the first. GWB was decidedly NOT the better candidate, or the person best to lead America. What people like is to get on the victory train. They like the excitement of winning. Most people don't ask a lot of questions about what exactly they're winning, they're so happy to win. Don't get me wrong. Obama is okay. I'll get behind him should he win the nomination--he's way, way better than what's on the other side of the fence. But, largely, he's an unknown factor. He speaks beautifully; will his actions match his words? We don't know. We hope. He hopes. We all hope. We have faith. We're Faithfull. But, we haven't got anything much more solid than that. I can't believe he'd sell us like GWB did. There we go again. Belief.

    Obama isn't quite a fairy tale...he does have some history behind him that gives us an idea of what his future trajectory is likely to be. It's rather undistinguished, but well-intentioned.

    Truly, I don't know what change he would bring that is so strikingly different from Clinton. If you look at their positions, they are nearly identical on the whole. Where's the change? He's capitalized on an idea that people are in love with and run with it. I can't fault him for it. Play to win. But, he's not too different from Hillary. Which is what makes him appealing to me. He's not that much change. The big change he'll bring to the White House if he wins is that GWB won't be there. And you know, that's a great change. I don't knock it.
