Or have all the decent seats gone during the two pre sales, both of which I have been shut out from like so many other jammers.

There will probably be good/decent seats on sale. But who knows.

I also think, that while it is definitely cool, and nice to sit closer, people really care too much about being so close. One of the best, and most fun concerts I've ever been to was the Police at Giants Stadium. I was so far away that I could barely see them on the giant screens that were up. But the show rocked so hard that it didn't matter. Once you're at the show and rocking out, it won't really matter that you didn't have the best seats.

I agree somewhat. But my experience has been the farther away I sit, the less energetic the crowd. I HATE being in a section with no energy. It definetly enhances the experience when everyone around you is rocking out just as much as you.

I think there will be a smattering of really good seats, and a lot of middling and section 300 seats.

You're right. That is the only thing that can be a downer, but if you're with friends and they're rocking out too, it doesn't matter. I know that no matter where I'm sitting for PJ I will be happy.

I kind of agree with you. My first PJ show was Boston I '06 and I was further away then I would have liked, but not very far (there really aren't any bad seats at the Garden). But I also went to Boston II '06, and somehow managed to score 1 single ticket in the 12th row of the floor off of ticketmaster weeks after they originally went on sale. That was probably the best concert I've ever seen. I was so much closer than I ever imagined I would be.

    2016: MSG 1, MSG II, Fenway 1
  • I was looking on stubhub.com because they have that interactive map and there are a lot of sections with no tickets for sale. So there should still be a lot of good seats available come Friday. Also MSG is a smaller venue. There really isnt a bad seat in the house... Also the best seats in the house, outside of the first few rows in section 1,2, and 3 are behind the stage. Me and My boyfriend sat 1st row behind the stage for Meadowlands in 06. It was the best show! Specially when the whole band turned around and played a song just for us =). So here is to thinking positive!
