If I went to Church I would want Rev Wright as my pastor.

-takes care of his community

-thought provoking

-exciting

-talks about social issues

His church was way more entertaining than any I attended as a child.

P.S. The reality of the situation is that there are only 3 candidates that have any possibility of becoming president in 08, and Obama is the only choice that makes any sense.

He's a win win really. If he fails to get the things accomplished many of us hope he will, I'm pretty sure the majority of his supporters are going to look even further left to someone more akin to a Nader or Kucinich. And if he does succeed, things can only improve.

I'm curious. What specific issues are important to you when picking a candidate to vote for?

That is way off the wall. If those are your criteria, you'd have been comfortable in a Klan rally in the south in the 60's, or in a Northern Idaho Christian Identity church in the 80's & 90's, too. They were probably also way more entertaining than your childhood church.

The first part of your sentence is factual, but the second part of your sentence is not. If you aren't happy with any of the 3 choices, you have an obligation to be honest with yourself and your vote, and make a statement.

I will definitely not be voting for any of the 3 candidates that have a chance of winning. I will be voting my conscience.

change. I want change. change is what I want and change is what Obama will bring. if he brings change, which I believe he intends to do, then that is what I want. I want old moonshine jugs full of change. and five gallon buckets. did I mention I want change?

I want someone not only willing, but able to end the occupation in Iraq. And I want them to use common sense when doing so.

I want someone to tax the shit out of me, because I don't mind spending more towards education, infrastucture, and defense.

I want someone who is intellectual and uses sound judgement when dealing with other nations.

I don't like Obama's health plan, but to be honest, it's not one of my main issues. But I do hope at some point he changes his mind. Hr 676 is really the only way to go.

Oh and yes I do want CHANGE!!! But who wouldn't??? Really?

These are a few issues. Some of the ones most important to me. I also like to have trust in a candidate. And I have a great deal of trust in Obama. Sorry conspiracy theorists.

You guys do realize change is going to happen regardless of who gets elected, right?

It is too bad the perfect candidate did not get media attention.

NO! change is only going to happen if Obama gets elected, he said so. and I don't want McCain's change, I want Obama's change. unless of course McCain has more change than Obama, but I find that extremely doubtfull.

Me, too. And common sense tells me that we should get the fuck out tomorrow, not in 5 years or 50 years.

I'd much rather have someone who focused on controlling spending rather than raising taxes. Controlling spending would be my definition of change. Raising taxes sounds like government as usual.

Me, too. And any candidate, major or minor party could do a better job than the dolt we have in office now.

We need to figure out how to get the government and insurance companies out of the relationship between doctors and patients. That would solve most issues of access and affordability.

You are right there will be some change no matter which of the 3 get elected. Obama offers the most. He may not be far from Hillary on the issues, but I really feel strongly that he has the ability to work both sides and get some things accomplished.

Agreed. The sooner the better. And of the 3 candidates that have a chance of winning, Obama gets them out first.

Controlling spending would be nice. I really like Obama's focus on education though.

Agreed. But once again Obama is the best here, including all candidates.

    Absolutely agreed.

Sorry, I fucked that up. I hope you can see my responses to your's inbetween. I'll learn how to seperate the quotes, I'm still a red mosquito.
