Florida congresswoman hangs up on the real Obama
Took some convincing that the President-Elect was on the line and was TRYING to get a word in with her. She hung up on the brother TWICE.
SHE just wasn't buying into the call like Governor Palin did I gather.

Smething like this happened to me. I got a call one morning and half asleep I answered. Some hoarse guy spoke and asked for me and announced he was Michael Franti I said "what", he said it's Michael and we just finished up Jam Cruise in Miami. I was about to hang up thinking it was my friends down there were fucking with me and he then spoke of the concert he played in Baltimore (my very first Michael Franti & Spearhead show) and how smoking hot it was. It was then and only then I realized it was the one and only MF.
We chatted some more and about his upcoming show at the time with Ziggy Marley. It must be a weird feeling getting punked or not believing trying to avoid such a thing.

Why did Michael Franti call you?
My friends in Fort Lauderdale set it up to mess with me and as a treat for my upcoming birthday in March of that year, it worked to a point. Later in the year Michael and I became friends after he came back from Iraq/Israel. We hung out in London, England and ever since.
