Well if the beautiful bird song happens to be a US tour that includes a New York gig,,,well I'm going :D I've promised my good wife a trip to New York this year and if it happened to coincide with a PJ gig....well who are we to argue :d

    That's sly, I like it :)

I'm with you ... but only if the NYC gig is at MSG. MSG and I am there FOR SURE. Anywhere else in NYC and it is probably not even 50/50.

My friend we'll stand next to each other in MSG and cry like little girls while hugging like brothers :D

lol. You should consider other places on the east coast too - like Boston. It is a beautiful city and one of the band's favourite places to play ... Also a hell of a lot cheaper to vacation in than NYC :)
Boston is great, thats true. I like it much better than NYC.
But, why only MSG for you? I'd go anywhere if I could.

A few reasons. I don't really have that much of a desire to go to NYC in the first place, so the only thing that would bring me there would be the chance to see OJ at MSG. Otherwise I would rather stick to an east coast road trip like Albany-Boston-Hartford-Phillly ...

lol! this typo made me giggle.... :D

i think the "tweet" will be east coast Ed shows.... that's good for Toronto! :)

  • No offense, Irish Al, but maybe it would mean more to your good wife if you planned the trip without an alterior motive.

If this is indeed the announcement to come, then it's going to be pretty hard to resist.

Only thing is, we were in New York only last November, and it was our second trip there in as many years and as much as my wife and I both love the city (plus New York crowds are insanely good fun), I kinda feel that our next trip stateside ought to be somewhere different.

Boston would be ideal. We'd both like to visit the city. I'd like to go back to San Francisco one day too so that'd be cool.

I don't know, it could well be decision time later this week.

it really would be brilliant to see you all on THIS side of the pond. i went over in 2006 and 2007....makes sense it's YOUR turn to fly over. if you've never been to NY before...even better! i am sooooooo looking forward to this announcement tomorrow. we are in *vacation-planning mode*...and i need to know when to be around town, when i can go elsewhere...and possibilities for NYC and possibly other shows and fitting them all in! :D

Pfft... you can go all the way to New York, but you can't make a tiny trip to London

Anyway, just don't get a poster... ;) You've used up your poster quota!
