Help feed hungry by playing a word game

It's a word game in which for each right answer, 10 grains of rice are donated through the UN for the hungry. Expand your vocabulary, do some good, and waste time knowing that you're not really wasting time.

Now I'm stuck after 5 right, gotta guess now.

    That's pretty addictive....I 'gave' 210 grains...too bad it wasn't grams.

just got another 50 randomly clicking answers quickly...then got this message:
"Sorry, we are unable to process rice donations so fast.

Please click BACK on your browser and try again."

I think you could donate more and skip all that pesky learning by going that route.

edit: now that I read the FAQ and understand howt he vocab level works I'm all hooked on seeing how high I can get it, cool lil program....nice link :)

    700 with a level of 38. It's fun, but time-consuming. Maybe I'll shoot for 500 a day or something.

If they have all this damn rice, why don't they just donate it instead of waiting for people to guess words? That seems like a joke.

    From the FAQ's:
If FreeRice has the rice to give, why not give it all away right now?

FreeRice is not sitting on a pile of rice―you are earning it 10 grains at a time. Here is how it works. When you play the game, advertisements appear on the bottom of your screen. The money generated by these advertisements is then used to buy the rice. So by playing, you generate the money that pays for the rice donated to hungry people.
  • I've hit vocab level 46(I predominately oscillate around 40), and I've donated multitudinous 1000's of viands. I think I've unequivocally become fanatical.
