Should Jenna Bush Have A White House Wedding?

Should Jenna have a Whitehouse wedding? One reporter, commenting on the upcoming wedding, remarked that she has until Jan 2009 to hold the wedding in the Whitehouse. If she's smart, she should rush it. There are a couple of million people who would like to see Bush out of the Whitehouse before then.

Should She?

Man traffic here in DC is bad enough already.

  • I vote for Iraq...right in the town square next to the remains of Saddam's two snapped off legs sticking up out of the ground.

Or hey the center of Gaza would be a charm...

lots of white linen...rose petals in the streets...violinists...get a few bubble machines going...

fire up that million dollar buffet while all the locals watch and writhe in agony

    fuck it'd make many a neo-con shed a tear...

it won't be at the white house. for security purposes it would be too risky. do you really think that they would have all of those important guests and dignitaries in one place at the same time? that would make a pretty big bullseye for some nutjob who might want to blow the place up. providing security for that event would be a logistical nightmare. they should wait until the man with the 28% approval rating and probably one of the top 5 most despised men in the world is out of office and keeping somewhat of a low profile.

if he is still in office then they should have it in texas or in kennebunkport or somewhere else. not at the white house.

Do you really think that GWB is going to keep a LOW profile?

He thinks he's too much of a big shot to do something like that. It would be a logistical and security nightmare plus there's probably some protocol prohibiting an event like that but would that stop GWB if he wanted it there?

they have the state of the union address every year where you have a guy with a poor approval rating and a congress with an even worse approval rating; i think they could handle the security fairly well. And for what it's worth, why not do it at the white house...that's not a bad option to have.

no, they've wasted enough taxpayer money anyway.
