anybody know what this is about?

With a range of third-party candidates at his side – including the Libertarian Party’s Bob Barr, independent candidate Ralph Nader, the Constitution Party’s Chuck Baldwin and the Green Party’s Cynthia McKinney – it’s unlikely that Paul will pick just one to support. But his spokesman said to expect “something of an endorsement,” with “a real effect on this fall’s election.”

All kidding aside. Post back when something comes up. I doubt it will make national media, making it that much harder for me to dig up
Thanks.
Very excited to see what it could be.
He says he is NOT running, NOT NOT NOT running independent,
but that his announcement will be big, and that he will say some things about all the candidates that will shake up this election and future elections.
What could it be???
Go Ron Go.
You my boy, Ron, you my boy!
If I opened it now would you not understand?
Wow, someone thinks a lot of themself.
the formation of a justice league of failure?
a World of Warcraft marathon?
cross the river to the eastside
Don't worry, he's NOT.
Cavuto said that tagged with, "heres what I think you're going to do, and feel free to tell me i'm wrong, like you have so many times before ... i think you're going to endorse one of the other candidates"
Paul cut him short and said, "oh no. i don't think so. i'm not endorsing another candidate."
or something like that.
like i said, i was at the gym, watching tele-type (closed caption)

I'm not positive but I believe that there are laws in many states that prevent any candidate who ran in a party primary to qualify for the ballot as an independent candidate or a different party's candidate in the same year. Unfortunately for Ned Lamont Connecticut doesn't have this law.
Hail, Hail!!!
I would loose all respect for Ron Paul if that happened.
Yeah... but in an election that is filled with gimmicks... wouldn't that be PERFECT?
Hail, Hail!!!
superhero or supervillian? you decide
cross the river to the eastside
And I like all of them except......Cynthia. She's a lunatic. A fuckin clown.
Why, because she asks tough questions?
I thought you'd be for that.

I'm not saying i'd vote her for president,
although at this point, honestly i'd consider it.

Paul rejects McCain's plea for endorsement
By SUZANNE GAMBOA – 58 minutes ago
WASHINGTON (AP) — Ron Paul says he rejected John McCain's appeal for his endorsement.
At a news conference Wednesday, Paul said he received a surprise call from McCain's campaign on Tuesday asking for his endorsement. Paul turned them down.
Paul said: "The idea was that he would do less harm than the other candidate."
Paul won no primaries in the Republican nomination contest but developed a strong following on the Internet. He appeared at a news conference with third-party candidates, including Ralph Nader and former Georgia Democratic Rep. Cynthia McKinney. Paul suggested backing the non-major party candidates.

Good for him. I applaud the fact that he is sticking to his beliefs. An endorsement for McCain would have completely voided all that he has done so far.
All Ron Paul does is stick to his beliefs,
i always get a laugh when folks around here accuse him of being an opportunist, and say things like, "how do you know he's not just as bad as McCain or Obama, I thought you said EVERYONE was corrupt?"
Come on folks.
Look at the facts.
If I opened it now would you not understand?
give me a break
now a full on endorsement of Obama would have been interesting... but all he did was announce he isnt endorsing McCain? underwhelming to say the least
Something that ACTUALLY would have made the news.
Still, gotta love Dr. Paul. I was just hoping for more.
Edit: Just watched the replay of Paul speaking... My response above is only going off of what I've read so far. There may actually be hope for the 3rd party candidates to do something together. He made some great points about the whole process being flawed, and biased against anyone outside of the 2 parties. I hope they can get themselves organized.
If the people on this website and others wanted real change Ron Paul would be the guy. He wasn't nicknamed Dr.No for no reason.
The only possible change in this election is the color of one's skin. He is not the Washington outsider that he claims to be. He is merely a black skinned person in an empty suit.
AMEN!!!
