i don't know what the PURPOSE of the study was, but what i think it clearly shows is that teens fuck to much.

I think it shows that teens who fuck don't use enough protection. And I believe that's an education issue.

Unless you live under a rock you know sex can w/o protection can lead to std's and pregnancy. Unfortunately when you're about to get some most people don't really care. The little head never thinks right.

You can actually still catch herpes or HPV when using a condom.

That's thing thing about High School girls, man. I keep getting older and they keep staying the same age...and 1 in 4 give me an STD.

I know. But a big problem we're having here in the U.S. is that federally-funded abstinence-only sex education programs are restricted from providing any information about condoms EXCEPT to emphasize their failure rate. This leads kids to believe there's no point in using them in the first place.

Bummer. I don't remember it being like that when I was in school. However, it was a long time ago and I could be confusing what I learned in school with what I learned by visiting Planned Parenthood and talking with my health care providers.

Kids need comprehensive sex education (and adults could probably use some refresher courses, 'cause the info does change). I remember our sixth grade teacher had no doubt that even 12 year olds needed to know how to prevent std's and pregnancy. She had a pregnant student the year prior. :(
