    All religious fundamentalists are engaged in a war on knowledge.

    Perhaps it pales in significance next to the horrific loss of life every day in Baghdad, but the destruction of irreplaceable books is also a tragedy.

    You know what's interesting about that? It shows S.H., who was not a good guy, as a real person instead of an evil caricature. It's easy to only see people in the way they're portrayed and forget that they were actually human. Of course, he was a bastard but still...
