It's quite incredible that 10 years on now from her death along with Dodi Al Fayed. The conspiracy theorys are still going on.I cant really blame Mohamed Al Fayed for wanting a court case on the matter. He did lose his son in somewhat shady circumsuances. But that should have been done straight away. It's ridiculous how long all of this has gone on.For everyone involved including Prince Charles, William and Harry I hope this is all over soon.10 years after the event they will be reliving there grief again.I think Mohamed will be disapointed in his belief the accident was a constructed one.I'm sure it was just an accident

  • It's the Elvis factor...
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

to the op. yes the investigation should have been done right away but it wasn't and al fayed lost his son. he has every right to druge it all up to find out exactly how his son died. sure it is not exactly great for the royal family especially harry and william but if you feel justice has not been served then you ahve every right to demand it.

if a member of my family or one of my friends died in suspecious circumstances and i felt the investigation was not good enough i certainly would be campaigning till i died for justice. even if the outcome was not how i expected at least justice was served.

It's easy to dismiss any critique of the 'official' story on anything as a 'conspiracy theory'. It's a type of laziness. It's a bit like using terms such as 'collateral damage', 'ethnic cleansing', or 'terrorist'.
I.e, J.F Kennedy was not assasinated by Lee Harvey Oswald. This has been proven to be a fact. But we can lazily dismiss this fact by using the term 'conspiracy theory', thereby creating a fog of comforting doubt around the weightiness of such a crime.

Yeah I'm with you on that point. That was brought up on question time too.Just hope for everyones sake that it is dealt with as quick as possible.Still think Mohamed will be disappointed on the outcome though.I think he is probably letting his heart rule his head.I heard that no one even Dodi and Diana knew until the last moment they were going out or where they were going. So for the whole thing to be planned with it looking 100% like an accident and no witnesses to say otherwise leads me to think even the secret service wouldn't be capable of that one.But yeah I cant blame him for wanting a proper trial. But that could have and should have been done from the start! Another question is though.Do you think he will let is rest even if the judge declares it an accident? I'm not sure

I agree 100%.But the court case could have happened straight away. Not 10 years later! Put an unneccesary strain on everyone involved

But that's not Mohammed's fault. And I don't think it looked 100% like an accident. It was pretty obvious they were being chased by somebody - if it were the paparazzi... somebody's responsible and should be held to justice for it. If I were him, I wouldn't let it lie either... shame there's nobody on her side feels as strongly about it. And what about that white car?

To ME it's pretty obvious there was nothing accidental about it, to you the opposite is true. Certain people are capable of absolutely anything... but I think William and Harry may be the only innocent parties in this. I never liked Diana but I didn't know her personally BUT if there was a conspiracy, we're never going to know anyway and Mohammed's not going to let it go obviously so the longer it goes on, the nuttier he's going to look unfortunately. You or I certainly wouldn't let it go had we his resources though.

but we all know that court cases take a mammoth time to prepare.

with this case there is enough mystery for the conspiracys to have serious weight..................I aint gonna name them all but for example the bodyguard that survived, what happened to him?????? he has just vanished into thin air, the press havent been able (allowed?) to track him down.

with this being a secret service job a court case isnt gonna bring anything to light.
It wouldnt be the first time, during WWII the queens uncle dissappeared, when the 50 year disclosure act was enabled all related documents (he was apparently lost while airborne) had been removed.
