Comfortably numb.......
I am so fucked off right now. I work my ass off, i think i'm a decent person, look out for my friends and family, generally care about peoples well being and the world we live in. I don't ask for much.
I hate that our country is so fucked up right now. We have billions of dollars to spend on the 'war on terror' :rolleyes:, billions of dollars to bail out the banks, billions of dollars to waste on all the other stupid things our government does and yet basic rights like proper and timely health care are not always available. Our whole health system is a complete and utter fucken mess. People die because our system is a shambles. It's a disgrace. I'm starting to think we are so fucked up the ass that nothing will fix this mess we are in because the people at the top just do not care.
Get your priorities straight Mr President. Look after your people FIRST.
We hope and pray that the dream is not yet gone, and that Americans get a fleeting glimpse of our former glory and greatness, and that they wake up and stop allowing these scum-bags to have their way with them.

I have friends who live in other countries and I hear how their government is and how great they have things.. and I USED to think that about this country.. but do not anymore..
I wish I had the link to the original incarnation of the Message Pit because in 2000 on election night I posted EXCATLY what the next 4-8 years would be like under Bush.. I painted quite a scary picture.. and the truth is THE REALITY HAS BEEN EVEN WORST.
