Voter suppression in the recent elections?

We all know the GOP suppressed votes in the previous elections (a Rovian scheme nonetheless), but, um, why aren't Democrats not raising the issue once again? Is it only when they LOSE, votes are "suppressed"?

i dunno why they are not raising it but i have read there are a number of investigations going on that have highlighted or will highlight irregularities.

Assuming (probably not) that you are coming from a bi partisan point of view I think it's a fair question.

"fixing" 50 elections is a lot more work than suppressing a couple of thousand votes in one state to win 1 race.

republicans (at least that's what they call themselves) are far more skilled at this than the Dems, far more experienced.

If there was tampering by the Dems , I say: wow, that was quite a feat, not to mention historic!

the sensation you are experiencing is called "being a sore loser".

now you know what a Democrat feels like

so I say to you what Repubs have been saying to us the last six years

    we won, get over it!

I think must of us are over it. We lost lets move on. Our character isn't ingrained with "being a sore loser" like most liberals. If this election had gone the other way, this board would still be flooded with tampering and cheating threads.

How many threads have cons started on this topic?

what's a "con"...? anyway, without labeling anyone a lib, con, or any other silly moniker, I've seen several "why aren't there any threads about voter fraud" threads since Nov. 7th....

so, my question is, who cares...? why is this even an issue...?

You're too smart to be asking a dumb question. ;)

It certainly proves a point. The same way that the Iraqi mess proved a point. Hindsight shows us who was right in most instances.

Your right it's not an issue. I just think it shows an interesting difference between the two groups.

this, my friend, is something we can agree upon...:)
  • I don't know why more questions aren't being raised (Unless I missed them deciding to going about investigations about voter mishaps). During the midterms, there was a thread that gave details on all the problems happening with vote booths across the country. It died after the dems won. I want the truth.

"two groups"...? you see, this is the problem...grouping people together and applying labels...it gets us nowhere....

I have to admit, as an American, I was concerned about the use if electronic voting machines, which could be easly hacked, something I saw on a story by Fox News...

I think Americans should be concerned about the voting process and making sure fraud does not happen. Everyone should be concerned, not just libs, cons, dems, repubs, yellow-belly scum suckers, or any other "group"...

well there are 2 groups. republicans and democrats. I think both groups (everyone) is concerned. what he is trying to say is democrats cry foul alot more then republicans do. hard to aruge with that.

those fox news people, fair and balanced. I didnt know you watched. ;)

I guess my point is, who cares...?

question: would you say this very thread is crying foul about the dems crying foul, therefore it's just as bad as the dems crying foul....?
