Where were all the free Tibet people when our President stood side by side with the Dalai Lama? Didn't hear much chatter about our President standing side by side with yet another cause fighting oppressive governments. Cheers to President Bush for telling China to stick it, and leave Tibet alone.

If the Dalai Lama wasn't a monk he'd kick G-Dubs ass.

Their philosophies are so far separated...

  • I agree. One affects change through action, and determination. Standing up to tyranny with the force of all his power. And one is the leader of Buddism.

What? You don't believe in passive aggression?

do not make the mistake of thinking that buddhism is one homogenous entity. it is not. nor is tibetan buddhism. :)

  • give me a fucking break.

taking a picture with the buddhist dude is hardly a brave act of defiance against China. how brave. How about actually doing something to pressure China? Of course he wouldnt do that, though. too much money to be made.

when he bravely stands up to tyranny in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia maybe i'll start to believe it.
