He has a reputation in the Senate, but the question is how bad is it? I agree that if it's bad, then he has no business being President of the United States.

Wow, we still have six weeks left. I wonder how ugly it's going to get!

The "so what" is many people are very uncomfortable with the idea of having a guy with anger management issues in charge of the the "red button." Dubya has been bad enough with his self-esteem issues. Iraq was a direct result of that. What do we need now? Another guy who just knee-jerks to situations instead of thinking about what's best for this country? I don't think so. We need someone who can put us ahead of his immediate needs to blow off steam or show daddy up. McCain's temperament IS a real issue because Americans will live and die based on the temperament of one man, just as they always have.
That's not what he has according to statements by Senators in the past. He has anger management issues possibly.
I'm not judging, just saying that if it's true he has no business being President, if it's only an occasional abrasive personality, then it's a non-issue, but at the moment it's a story worth bringing out because of reports about this prior to him running for President this year. Not because of that ad.

This is very true but this may affect him in making snap decisions though. In the big picture not a major issue.

Ya but you don't have a nuclear weapons button at your fingertips do you???
Nobody is saying that McCain doesn't have a damn good reason to have these issues...not one person here is unsympathetic to the suffering he has endured. What we are saying is that if he can't control his anger it could get the US...hell it could get the whole world in to a whole lot of shit.
Word!

exactly.
I say this every time I read one of your posts;)
yeah... maybe someone can pay a few former POW's to go on TV and say that he is unfit to be commander in chief. Maybe even give them a catchy name like "POW's for Truth" or something like that.

It's especially true when someone resorts to personal attacks as opposed to debating the topic.
