If they can drill their own oil.... Imagine how rich Alaska could become

    It's hard to see where she aligns her loyalties.

    If she has battled Big Oil in Alaska, then does that make her interests better for Alaska or America???

    Then if she plays up to big oil interests, that wouldn't be popular in Alaska.

    Wonder where her loyalties align?

    I think the pregnant daughter has provided a convenient distraction for those who have a desperate need to be right about their choice to vote for McCain.

    it's day 5 of her selection ... I'm sure if they find appropriate things to question her on, they will come forward ...

    no need to rush it and say something completely out fo line, it's just going to get lost in all the news clutter right now.

    no state benifits from taxing "big oil" more than Alaska. Of course they get along. The more oil gets pumped the more money goes into the state coffers.

    all these threads are rather interesting. I think I'd read her name maybe 3 times before last friday. It's amazing how many experts there are in a week.

    there's a video of her from a graduation, or something like it, where she says people need to support the war in iraq, and some Alaskan oil pipeline, as they are both "God's Will"

    Scary shit. Would we elect someone if they said they are doing something because the Easter Bunny told them to? Or that we should go to war because it is the Tooth fairy's will?

    It's been posted in another thread but she was speaking in front of a church congregation. But add that to her ties to the AIP and I find this person to be very disturbing.
