I'm familiar with a lot of the bands history, but I'm looking for the BEST book on the story of Pearl Jam. Any recommendations??? Thanks.

Personally, I'd go with "Pearl Jam and Eddie Vedder: None Too Fragile," by Martin Clarke. "Five Against One" by Kim Neely is decent.

I thought "5 against 1" was really good, but I felt a little creepy reading the middle part, it was really personal.

Five Against One was very good, but I am still not convinced Dave A. didn't ghost write it.

I actually just finished "none to fragile" about a month ago. Very easy read. Cause it sucks!!!!!!
IMO 5 against 1 wasnt that bad, but still not that good.
I dont think there is a good book out there on them.
I agree, wikpedia is your solution. very good info on all bands.
I'd wait for Eddies autobio in say, 25 years.

    Agreed :D
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

i read the Kim Neely book a few years ago, it was ok. it kinda sucks that it stops at yield, she should write new chapters.

Yeah, I punished myself by listening to Not for You about 10 times after reading each chapter.

Really sheds some light on a lot of songs, though, especially Release and RVM.
*Does not include encore of Garden and Leash.
