  • Probably from... 20% of the voters in the Kentucky Democratic primary and various individuals interviewed in primary states.

Of course, those people are obviously outliers dug up by the corporate mainstream media who want to paint a certain % of certain states as racists.

I think I'm seeing a pattern here: Anything that includes criticism against Obama is automatically discredited in your mind. How objective of you.

yeah, it's not as good as the official obama site she loves to use as her top source, cos ya know that's the only place one will find unbiased facts on obama!!! like duuuuuuuuuh, abook why would you think dandelion salad, which uses various sources and compiles them could even hope to compare to obama's site or his autobiographies??

But you guys always seem to be MIA. It's a shame really.

i don't see it as a shame. i've been mia from the board because i've actually been spending my nights and weekends outside of my fulltime job canvassing, phonebanking, and organizing events for senator obama. seems to have helped make a difference!

and i know i'm not alone here. :)

Yes, a real shame. Heaven forbid, there were TWO LESS people on the internet cutting and pasting fifteen page articles and youtube videos onto a rock band's message board. I can't think of anything more useful to do.

That is admirable but coming on here just to be pissy instead of engaging in actual discussion is what I have a problem with....not any of your volunteer work.

Spreading information isn't a bad thing...just so you know. Apparently Obama's campaign knows this and uses this to their advantage all the time. But let me guess....it's just different when it's pro Obama stuff, his campaign staffers and pro Obama bloggers. Yeah.

That week in Iowa was cold, but amazingly rewarding. Giving up a bunch of Saturdays to call people in Illinois, South Carolina, North Dakota, and Oregon(!) was great, too. The day trip to Indiana was nice. Good weather.

I have to make a confession. I'm looking at the Nader website, and I'm seeing SO FUCKING MANY WAYS TO PUT WORDS INTO ACTION. I can sign up to go on a road trip and gather signatures that will get Ralph on the ballot in various states. I can refer other like-minded folks for road trips. I can apply for a volunteer position or a paid staff job with the campaign. It's obviously a sacrifice, but if I were really committed to his candidacy, I'd do it in a heartbeat, because nothing is better for democracy than active participation. Anything less is just talk. Or cut & paste.

speaking of cutty pasty, for anyone who wants to take the leap:

I sincerely congratulate you on your volunteer work. Kudos. Huzzahs. Mazeltovs. That's the point I've been trying to make here.

You have to be nice to me now. A certified Obamatard just gave Ralph Nader an unsolicited plug on a popular website, without one single 'pissy' word about his candidacy.

am i ever mean to you? :D

    thank you

and our state coordinator informed us monday we had to halt our petition collecting b/c the size of paper that is permissible for the signatures to be valid is in dispute...it has to be 1 certain size. so some of the signatures already collected are to be thrown out...b/c the paper was the wrong size....how democratic

that wasn't my point at all. first, i don't think it's too pro-obama to be racist. second, i never said all people who don't vote for him are racists. i said 1 out of 5 who voted in the dem primary in west virginia based their votes on race.

    20% then

And it's not pro-obama to be racist but that's not your point. Your point is that he lost because of these racist voters not because Hillary deserved it in these states.

But maybe we can get b-list actor Kal Penn to get out there and campaign in these states for the general and show those 'dixie' states the error of their racist ways. ;)

Dammmn, that's some serious cash. I bet you could buy a shitload of paper that's correctly sized for use as ballot petitions with that kind of money.

I can't decide which of his films I like best.... Van Wilder 2, Malibu's Most Wanted or Epic Movie. But yes, those films do make a ton of money...go figure.
