I'm watching the local news right now, and a judge was arrested for drunk driving. Not good, right? Well instead of focusing on how this judge broke the law, they are focusing on the fact that when he was arrested, he was dressed in drag and had been drinking in a gay bar. Like seriously, that's his business. I don't feel bad for this guy since he got arrested for drunk driving and he's a judge on top of it, but to have his whole personal life basically just be mocked on the news is really sad.

They could choose to do some research into how he ruled on DUI cases over the years (if he is a criminal judge) and make a story about hypocrisy or something, but it's much easier to just go on TV and make fun of his personal life.
