I'm just curious , do you think that at a pearl jam show its possible or has this been done ? I have been to a bunch of shows and UI have never witnessed this. One I don't know if this is possible just because the crowd usually peters out or just freaks out into a large cheer after 2 verses. Do you think Eddie would love this ( we all know he needs a lil help sometimes with the words ) ...
IDK in the back of my mind I would love to hear a pearl jam song sung entirely by the US :)

If there were such a song, Im sure it'd be Elderly Woman.
I know there was a version of Last Kiss where Stone, I think, wasnt ready and Ed went ahead and played it with the audience singing most of it......although I think he also sang during the song...

The crowd sang all of betterman but the last verse, it was awesome. The crowd broke into cheering after the first verse and Ed had to extend the next note for the crowd to get the hint to keep going. Made a nice comment how the Cincinnati crowd could sing much better than Cleveland!! haha.

Eddie's lyrics are so hard to understand, it's a miracle if they can sing along with 2 verses!

    I kid, I kid.
    Thanks EPOTTSIII!

Well fans were challenged last night with Yellow Ledbetter.... "You'll have to sing this one cause I sure as hell don't know the lyrics".
    Writing checks that others pay.....

  • Hmm, I think we did Elderly Woman at Ed's NJPAC show...I think he deferred the entire song to the crowd...no, it's not a full-on PJ concert, but it shows we can do it! WE CAN DO IT!!!!!!

Nothingman from Borgata should be considered if EV didn't get in the way by singing :p. It's a great version - the crowd are almost like back up singers.
    Hey hey it's okay...

I agree with the Philly shows, my wifes biggest complaint is she can barely hear Ed at times. I mean she is standing in the 10C area.
Thats a lovely accent you have. New Jersey?
