Campbell Brown should not be viewed as someone reporting news.

Thoughts on CNN star Campbell Brown

I would like to start off first by saying her articles in print are hard to read considering the picture of her own image is abnormally large. The great thing about writers is that the words they print are their image and their own brand. Brown seems to be using her sex appeal as a way to become a star. This is the first reason she should not be considered as a credible source. Those who have seen the articles know what I am talking about. Unfortunately for my opening piece I can't provide a link because she is now doing strictly video commentary as she is reading what she has written in front of the camera.

Her slogan ''No Bias, No Bull'' is simply an absurd lie. In the civilized society anyone who claims to be unbiased is simply biased. It is impossible to write an article formulated from thought and have it called ''No Bias''. The only way it could be achieved is if you reported just dialogue completely unedited.

I will provide a link of her video that includes text at the bottom. Not only is her entire commentary an opinion(bias), she misses the point of the entire conversation and portrays Barack Obama as someone who is ducking media questions when he is not. The Tribune is a media outlet and no one of any power can answer a question when the initial question is set up based on information that hasn't been released yet. Here is the link:

My intention with this post is to inform the potential unsuspecting citizen that stumbles across her readings that they are not only biased and littered with her personal opinions, they come from a media outlet similar in structure to MSNBC, which has been accused by former reporters of slanting stories to meet their agenda. Here is a link to that:

this is former employee of MSNBC Jessica Yellin telling you that they edited her writings to their agenda. While unfortunately she seems to be telling the truth now, she can no longer be trusted either as she was silent of this until after leaving the company.

  • I don't know if Campbell Brown would be able to survive at that time slot doing straight reporting with no opinion. It seems that the prime time slots of the cable news networks are driven by ideological opinion...everyone has had their fill of straight reporting and are looking for opinion.
She is flanked by Bill O'Reilly on the right and Keith Olbermann on the left. I don't see the show succeeding in any way unless she becomes as outspoken (at certain times on her show) as her competition is. Keep in mind that this is a business and about ratings. CNN could do a true "no bias, no bull" hour but they would never be compeditive at that hour.
I need a date for the upcoming tour. I'm single, I have a steady job, I'm a big fan of Pearl Jam and I am not a serial killer.

not sure what the use of your post is, your biased in your opinion. nothing wrong with that, but there is nothing special about your accusations against her. Fox news is far more biased, that campell brown, cnn, let alone msnbc. It's not news anymore, it is opinionated entertainment right? I'll take campbell browns bias over sean hannity's anyday, forgot the substance, just the fact it's not full of hate and prejudice is a plus...oh, and she's hot.
  • She's bat shit crazy. I watched her critisize how Obama simply told a reporter he wasn't going to comment on the Blagojovich scandal because the investigation wasn't over. She said, "You ran an honest campaign and now you're telling reporters to shut up?"

Her lisp is excruciating also. Oh, and her husband is a right-wing nut job.

If you look at all media slogans they represent exactly the opposite of what is actually being shown. "No Bias, No Bull", Extreme Bias, Extreme Bull".

O'reilly's show is based on facts backed up by his own opinion,He does however lean to the right but he is not a republican he's a registered independent.
