what would happen if something were to happen to irans leader (the guy from short circuit) next week in new york.

What are we speculating about their leaders? That they may get control of a plane? That some freak in the US is going to shoot him instead of Bush or an abortion doctor? That they are going to bug the building so they know when the US is going to attack? Suprise Bush by switching their oil to the Euro? Invite Bush and Co. to Iran to see that they are really only trying to gain nuclear to curb the use of fossil fuels? So much to speculate about.
I don't know whether to laugh at the States or at the Iranian Prez.
I just don't see any of the people of this country being motivated enough to pull a stunt like that off.
The masses are so generally complacent it is sickening.
If you mean to imply that the CIA or such may off him,
i think even they would be smart enough to do that in Iran, and not here where government complicity would be immediately suspect.
Besides,
i'm sure our government is acutely aware that an assassination would a horrible move at this point. At least, I HOPE they understand that.
The fact we even have to worry about CIA assassinations is proof enough for me that the agency should be abolished, and a more transparent agency established (if at all). Their gross ignorance of the original charter for their FOREIGN intelligence operations is sickening. They are meant to gather intelligence, not plot and scheme deadly evil ganster plots.
