Oh, well now that's just peachy. Will this guy finally make up his damn mind and decide whether he's running as a black man or a white man? I mean, jeeze.........0

I know I ALWAYS go by my middle name. If it weren't on my license I would probably forget what it is0 -
That photo was taken in my home town - Metropolis, Illinois. I walk my dogs by the statue every morning. I missed Obama when he was there though. The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way it treats its animals. Ghandi0

Chicago - far north.
Metropolis - far south.
We are on the Ohio River across from Paducah, Kentucky. We drove to the PJ concerts in May and I think it took us almost 6 hours. It was actually a little closer to drive to Cincinnati in June - but not much.
There is a Superman Festival in June which will be June 7, 8, 9, 10 this year I think. It is really only appealing to comic book people and Superman fans. Noelle Neil (the original Lois Lane in the tv series) usually makes an appearance. One year the guy (Superman's human dad) from Smallville and Dukes of Hazzard was there. Other such celebrities show up too as well as some comic book types that may not be Superman related.
I only participate in the Road Race on Thursday and the bike ride on Saturday, which Superman leads off by the way. There is an actor from LA that comes in every year to play Superman. He is good, but I can't think of his name.... Scott something. In real life he and his wife got married at the Gazebo in Metropolis.
We also have a cheezy Superman Museum, but the guy does have a great collection of Superman memorabilia. He is just kind of gross and likes to brag about how much all of his stuff is worth. The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way it treats its animals. Ghandi0
