    Part of the Abramoff investigation
Republican Rep. Bob Ney of Ohio has pleaded guilty to conspiracy and making false statements as part of a deal in which he will cooperate with an influence peddling investigation, the Justice Department said.
Looks like he may help bring down others though.

He's a crooked congressman from Ohio. He was convicted today of fraud and making false statements.

  • And, I might add, he should have been convicted alone on charges of wearing a horrible hairpiece.

Maybe he can share a cell with another convicted Ohio politician with even worse hair:

    standin above the crowd
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
    eager to identify with
    someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same
someone prepared to lead the way

  • The "Freedom Fries" bloke. Took rather a lot of bribes. Apparently looked for the sympathy vote by saying he was a drunk. He's not the only corrupt politician in the world. It was just, with that wig, he was always going to be obvious.

Gosh, I'm just bursting with pride, being from Ohio! Even blokes in Ireland have noticed us!
