    "socal"?

what the hell kind of pm is that?

I'm not driving all g.d. day to who knows where just to prove a point. Locally would be great.

I think you're just one of those people who calls people names thanks to the safety of the internet. Correction: I don't think this. I know this.

    And I've never said differently.

So what exactly makes your stance on this issue any different from mine?

You seem content with the way things are. Apathetic. I am not. Most people here are not.

I think your point of view is what I called it. I don't know you personally.

That's a conclusion you jumped to with little to substantiate it. Nowhere did I say things are OK the way they are.

But, I do think that not having control of the world's oil is dangerous to the US economy and its future. I don't think change is happening fast enough to change that.

In fact, I think the only way things will change fast enough is if everybody just stops using oil or at least a large portion of it. What other alternative do we have? Will the oil industry and various other power brokers ever be forced to back off as long as we are all gladly forking money over at the pump and to the utility companies? The answer is no.

    "You are a true coward"

    "You are a coward"

    WTF is the difference?

Now you don't want to admit that you throw insults around? I don't mind if you do. But, I can't help but wonder if they can be backed up.

No need to get testosterone involved in this.

Being that it was insulting to you, I now know I should have written that "that idea is....".

Poor writing. My fault. Lets have a beer and forget about it.

It's not that bit of a deal. I've been stressed out lately and I've been looking for someone to really release that stress into. The other night I was at starbucks and this biker guy was reading the paper and he saying things like, "G.D. Monguls and black christians..."

Being that I am a "mongul", I walked up to him and said, "Hey what's the matter? Is there is a problem?" And I was just hoping he would say yes I have a problem, but he said, "No, I'm OK."

So, it's not really you. It's me and this psychotic mindset that I've been suffering lately as a result of things going on in my life that really suck eggs.

I think it's your right to insult whoever you want.

If we didnt have oil, our economy would crash and more people would die then 3000.

I wish I had the power to send you to former Iraq and have you guard an oil field while U.S. companies operate it.

    while your getting paid SHIT!

    P.S. you stupid bastard :)

good for you then, abook. I don't know what country you live in, but if it is not the US, then I would expect you to have the same feelings of disappointment and hostility for your own government as well.

My point is that if you want to change the world, then you have to change yourself first. This means no more driving internal combustion engine and no more going on vacation via a jet plane that runs on fossil fuels.

I'll admit getting a hybrid is an important step that I haven't gotten to yet. Right now I really wouldn't be able to. But that still doesn't take away from the short sightedness of continuing after something that's not going to last, hindering alternatives, and using other people's lives, death and destruction to gain it.
If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.
