I think oil can be used as a good example for this idea.
the governments of the world are trying to protect and gain access to as much, if not all the oil in the world.. for whatever reason...thats not the point...
we see raising gas prices and our taxes going to pay for our military troops guarding oil fields in iraq... so its no doubt that we pay over double what we pay at the pump in reality..
that being said... can the same thing happen with water... if somehow in the future.... governments are hoarding and protecting and killing and stealing water all over the world...what does this mean for the common person that isn't motivated to the point of insanity.
i mean.. what if one day.. we are buying water like we buy oil and the prices seem to be rising and our governments are telling us the supply is low... imagine
50 dollars or 70 dollars a week going to water... just to live... of course that value would rise or lower with inflation and of course different currencies.
right now there are countries and villages that have a hard enough time sustaining drinkable water...
can anyone see this happening.. i mean... our government here in america has been lying to us..and each time they are caught they just change the story on why or when they did things and people seem to generally be ok with this... or ignorant.
