    He did (maybe... things concerning his reserve status are a little fuzzy) protect Houston from the Vietcong Air Force. He probably stubbed his toe a few times climbing into his cockpit buzzed on an eight ball and top shelf scotch.

    From a PR standpoint, wouldn't have been better to respectfully decline?

    Instead of "hey I thought these things were harder to get?"

    Shoot, he invited them to the White House so they could give it to him PERSONALLY. What a tool. The man who gave it to him is an idiot, IMO.

    I'm assuming w/ the fine PR this administration has done w/ Jessica Lynch and Pat Tillman that they were all over this like flies on shit.

    You could have dropped that purple heart next to that "black wall" of names for those that didn't make it back. Or didn't you know that "wall" existed in the same city as the White House?

    Your medal and you're free to do what you want with it, but some things should just make you feel dirty.
