Can anyone explain to me why the CFR is so bad? It seems to me their goal is to open up dialogue and find solutions for problems facing the world as a whole.
Just because they have a lot of high ranking government officials in their ranks doesn’t mean they are getting people elected. It just means they draw the cream of the crop to their organization. It isn’t a secret society and in fact they post a lot of their meeting transcripts online.
I look at many of these types of groups with a skeptical eye but I have to wonder if maybe the CFR is well intentioned and people are just making a mountain out of a molehill. Thoughts?

Its an upper class institution that is very undemocratic. It has become the most influential private policy planning group.
They decide policy for governments, that's how powerful these guys are. In a world with 12 million dying every year from globalization I'm not sure these are the guys we want running things.

It was formed as a way to specifically manipulate and control the entire media by special interests. Look into it's founding and on what principles... It's fucked.

also look into Rupert Murdoch, and watch the documentary "Outfoxed" sometime.
The media is complicit, and actually now controlled by gov't. Gov't is controlled by corporate lobbyists. Reporting is no longer done in the interests of the people but rather against the betterment of society in a specific and highly controlled manner according to greed.Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.
