"It is indeed sexist if you think that Sarah Palin is not competent or qualified but that George W. Bush is. I mean, there is nobody who is less qualified and more incompetent than Bush. There is a scene in Woodward's book where Bush is asserting that Maliki needs to learn how to run a nation, and that Bush is intent on teaching him. After 7 years in office, Bush is still not capable of running a potato, let alone a nation."

I think that most people who believe that Palin is not qualified also believe that Bush is not qualified. My issue with her are not her qualifications but her ideals.

I agree! Although, I do not find her qualified to lead the country should she need to as well....

I don't think she will have problem running the country. I just believe she will continue to run this country into the ground.

It is indeed stupid if you think George W. Bush is competent or qualified.

As for sexism, thinking this is not, in and of itself, sexist. The two of them have different histories. Bush had more time a Governor, a father who spent 12 years as VP/Prez, ran businesses (into the ground) and went to ivy league schools.

Not saying sexism could not be a factor, but it does not have to be.

And how many people are we talking about anyway? Most people think Bush is a buffoon by now. And most that don't probably think Palin is the best new thing since keyless entry.
I cannot come up with a new sig till I get this egg off my face.
