PDT Pacific Daylight Time, Question?

I know, to some this is a dumb question, what ever?

Does this mean that my 11am is different then the 11am that the tix go on sale?

How does it work? I am EST
Does that mean a three hour difference?

    I believe it's 3 hours difference.
    So if it's 11am in PDT Seattle and Cali
    it''ll be 2pm in EST NYC/Boston

    But there is no EST right now, right? It's EDT. Doesn't the Eastern time zone participate in daylight savings? Last I checked they did.

    Regardless, CA time is always 3 hours behind NY time.

    You are the first person over 12 I've ever known to not know what a time zone is. Haven't you traveled somewhere outside of EST? Or known someone that has? Or watched a movie or tv show that referenced this? Or looked at a time zone map? Or walked by one of those clocks that display different times from around the world? Or watched a commercial for a tv show that said 8 PM - 7 Central?
