SUVs and the Reptilian Brain

I'd rather drive a turbo'd road rocket over an SUV any day. Out corners, out accelerates, needle like precision in traffic. If it doesn't have a stick shift and a clutch, it isn't a car worth driving imo...

"60 Minutes does an interesting piece on SUV's and the need for bigger and more powerful cars. Clotaire Rapaille explains that the reptilian in you is behind the need for bigger and more powerful SUVs. There's a war out there and you'd rather get a tank if possible!"

Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

I strongly believe a lot of people have no idea why they do what they do. Not a clue.
This almost leads into a free will thread.

As she slams the door in his drunken face
And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green
