    It is interesting that the opinion piece never quotes anything of sustenance in which a debate of the generals words and ideas could be started.

    Just as in the Rev Wright controversy. Only take a few words out of a whole sermon and thus another non controversy is developed. How long till Fox News starts in on this? They need a new time waster so people can not see all the good that is going on in Iraq and that other war.

    This is a very interesting article. It accurately explains why the system is fundamentally fucked; I.e, to get to the 'top' you need to have jumped through some pretty questionable hoops. The same goes for mainstream media journalists. They didn't get where they are by rocking the boat.

    I thought the piece was a good read, too and wanted to start a thread with it but didn't for fear of being flamed by Obama supporters.

    But I love rocking the boat so what was I thinking, anyway? :p

    I have problems with Wright. He's just a bigot.

    Did you read the post at all? It's not about Rev Wright its about a Senator Obama advisor. You want to point out what you found offensive about the General?

    YOU opened the door about Wright. YOU. You can't just make ridiculous claims of "context" and then expect people to just let it go.

    You directly compared this situation to Wright in your first reply to this post. Therefore, you linked the two and the discussion can be about both since this is such a similar topic. The topic is about who Barack surrounds himself with. What a surprise they are racists.

    Mr. Wright is no reverend. He is a bigot politico. The last time I checked, Jesus was supposed to be the answer, not the black ethic.

    So by leaving off the General in a post with out actually knowing anything but one quote proves that Senator Obama is a racist?

    Can you point out what the General has said that tells you that he is a Racist?

    The ADL does not have a problem with Senator Obama? Why?
