"Time to listen to Texas Congressman Ron Paul, the lone voice of reason in Congress today who’s got to feel like he’s shouting into a field of cotton with his repeated warnings about the dangers of a collapsing dollar, while the administration goes AWOL on the problem.
The dollar just hit a record intraday low against the euro on reports that consumer confidence levels have dropped to levels not seen since the post-Watergate era. It is down 7% year to date against the Chinese renminbi, it’s weaker than the Japanese yen and the Canadian loonie." ..........cont'd

Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

It really is too bad people are so stupid.
Are you guys absolutely furious that this late in the stage he finally gets some normal press? Time has a recent article about him that, though it mocks his message board supporters (had to laugh at that one, sorry), is fairly objective and actually presents him in a good light. Fox news now jumping on board too apparently.
If this was my guy, and I had supported him as hard as you guys did, and he got shut out of the media the way he did, and he NOW got some good attention... Well let's just say I expected some pretty angry threads from you guys on this one.
"Sometimes I think I'd be better off dead. No, wait, not me, you." -Deep Toughts, Jack Handy
Most Ron Paul supporters are all apathetic now...in that you can bring a horse to water, but can't make him drink so to speak.
Pretty much exactly what they wanted to accomplish, and it succeeded. If it isn't in the media, it doesn't exist on planet earth.
I wrote a thread on the North American Union forming and a new unified currency coming out with a dollar collapse a long time ago. People thought I was crazy. Looking at the numbers, and the 3 trillion (and going strong) war spending......where's the alternatives? What foresight is there by the fed and the administration? Where is the expertise or motiviation to pick up a simple calculator and discern reality? ZERO...zero...zero... They are stealing from the masses, and pandering exclusively to elite circles.

I see people backing certain candidates who claim change. You really want change? If you did Ron Paul would be the guy to vote for.
- He is against the Iraq war
- He wants the dollar to stand for something
- He believes in the Constitution
- He won't borrow from China
- He believes in a sovereign United States, not a NA Union
- He has forgotten more about economics than the three other candidates know
- He will let you do what you want, there is too much government in people lives
Fox dropped the ball here when they kept him out of that debate. Too little too late. Maybe he will run on the McCain ticket as a veep.
