"Mayor Rudy Giuliani insults City Workers At Town Hall Meeting June 27 2001. Larry Hanley,President of ATU Local 726,tries to ask then Mayor Rudy Giuliani about an inside deal to grant bus routes to connected private bus companies that contibuted to his campaigns"
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

    I think you're right.

On the other side of it, how have the people of New York City put up with that pompous, lying asshole for all these years?
    Unbelievable.

Jim Morrison, performing, concert, NYC, perplexed momentarily at all of the dudes suddenly in the front row there; "ah, it's New York, only the guys rush the stage."

    Makes sense to me.
    Q: You mean Guliani?
A: All I'm saying is that all that NYC maschismo is BS.
    Q: You know this, how?
A: In the time I spent up in that area, all I saw was a bunch of wanna-be
Soprano's extra's and wanna be models without the looks and the talent of a horse's ass.
Q: and what's this got to do with Guliani?
A: Well, I guess I'm just saying, I pity New Yorkers. There's some GREAT people there. It's kind of like the US in microcosm. The good ones aren't heard from.

As far as I know, nothing has changed that dynamic in 40 years.

With the exception of the firemen, and policemen, New York City breeds the most effette-affected of men in the American country. This is why they continue to elect douchebags like Guliani. There is no real leadership in that city. There are no real men other than those who make the sacrifice to do the jobs that the rest of them are incapable of.
